The event is a walk to raise awareness for breast cancer and reconstruction.
Women undergoing mastectomy often are unaware or uninformed of their options for breast reconstruction and that health insurance plans cover this service. Their goal on October 19th is working to change that by promoting education, awareness, and access for women who may wish to consider breast reconstruction through our event. The goal is to show the importance that plastic surgery plays during a woman’s breast cancer journey, and this informative evening is an opportunity to demonstrate that desire, and to raise hope around this very serious women’s health issue.
*Meet & greet with Dr. Janae Kittinger & Dr. Jim Tidwell

Last year they collected over 150 new bras for the Center for Women & Families to donate, so they decided to do the same thing this year! The Center for Women & Families is dedicated to the advancement of single mothers through education and healthcare awareness, which includes a free mammography and breast cancer screening clinics. Patients who bring a new bra will receive door prizes and 10% off a syringe of Botox and Juvederm. Breast Cancer Patients who are in attendance receive a free microdermabrasion in recognition of their fight. We will also have refreshments, testimonials by breast cancer patients, and local media coverage in their honor.
Hosting a patient appreciation and education day.
